Hii~ I’m Jackie!

My background is in animation, I studied at Seneca College and worked in the industry for 5+ years before finding my way to tattooing. I never imagined this would be my path, but once I started my brand, Hokeii Pokeii, everything clicked.

I had a total "aha" moment when I realized how perfectly the name mirrored my Chinese name, Hoi Kei 愷淇. It felt like a sign that I was exactly where I was meant to be! Now, I love bringing those playful, illustrative roots to life through permanent art.

When I’m not at the studio, I’m usually crafting or cozying up with my mom’s dog, Cooper. However, my heart always stays with my bestie, Mini. She was by my side for her entire life, teaching me how to be happy in the moment while we drew and cuddled.

Though she passed in 2024, she is the soul of Hokeii Pokeii. I designed my logo to capture her playful spirit, so she’s with me for every piece I create. I’m so grateful to be on this journey and would love to create something special with you!
